I was talking to a customer who was ordering the HCG ezTrim when he mentioned that he is 52 and his joints are really hurting him. He felt taking the weight off would help his joints to feel better and I agreed. He went on to say that he knew things were going to be downhill from here on out, that he was going to have to live with not feeling as good as he used to, because that is what getting old is all about. I told him I wasn’t buying that idea and that I am only a year younger than he is and that the older I get the more I do to make sure I am at least maintaining my health. Truth be told, I am in better shape than I was fifteen years ago and I am going to continue to get fitter and healthier. This week I realized that I had a problem with mind over matter. About eight years ago I put all around my computer that I weigh 145 lbs, thinking that is the lowest I could ever hope for. When I hit 145 back in November I realized that I needed to go lower to look the way I wanted to. In January I did a two week cycle of HCG ezTrim and got down to 136 lbs. We took our little trip and when we got back home I was back up at 145 lbs. I went on the HCG for a week and got it off in February and now here I am a month later back at 145 lbs. In thinking about this problem I know that 145 lbs is stuck in my head because of all of those years of having that as my goal. When I keep thinking about what I weigh, 145 is what keeps coming to mind. I printed off a bunch of 135 lbs in big print and put them all over my computer, and all over the house. I need to reprogram my mind that 135 lbs. is what I weigh.

The mind is an amazing thing and what you think about is what your brain will help you to achieve. To me being healthy and able to function to the best of my ability is what I want. As I reprogram my brain to my new weight I truly believe that my body will allow me to stay at the weight that I feel good at and want to maintain. I thought about just working on my mind and letting the weight come off as it will, but knowing that I can be where I want to be in a week to ten days with the HCG drops it is too hard to pass up getting it off fast. So here I go again, hopefully for the last time this year.

Hollie's hCG Salad Dressing


Hollie's hCG Salad Dressing

This makes several servings, keep in fridge and shake well before using

1 tsp mustard (brown or dijon)
1/4 c. red wine vinegar
Spices to taste (varied):
Salt
Black pepper
White pepper
Garlic powder
Onion powder
Mrs Dash

The vinegar is VERY strong, so dilute with water to taste. (1/8 to 1/4 cup)

Still working on my weight loss with HCG ezTrim

4 Kathryn wiight loss photosI’m still working on my weight loss with HCG ezTrim, I lost 60 lbs between May and the first part of November 2010. I put on a few Christmas pounds as most people do, and with the loading was at 152.2, but after three days of dieting I am at 141.8. I don’t have a number I am shooting for, but just want to get rid of the little tummy that I still have. I’m hoping another ten pounds will do it. I am thrilled with this diet. Due to my thyroid issues since having Radioactive Iodine at the age of twenty I have gained and gained weight no matter how much I tried to lose it. I was able to keep some weight off with exercise, but with dieting any weight loss always came back. HCG ezTrim resets your metabolism and weight set point. I feel it is really working for me and I have talked to many people that are as happy as I am with it. Are you ready to lose weight for the last time?

You study and understand that you cannot eat any fats during the weight loss cycle, nor can you use lotions or oils on your body. Losing more weight on my Third Cycle of HCG ezTrim


Kathryn, Olympic TorchI have lost a few more pounds for a total of 56 lbs, if you count the loading weight I’ve lost 68 lbs. since the middle of May. I am getting pretty close to being where I need to be, I’m working on that little poochy tummy and then I’ll call it good. This is a photo of me at the Utah Olympic Park holding the torch. I feel like a gold metal winner already!

For people that might be ready to start another round you will notice that the HCG ezTrim tastes different. The FDA has made some rulings on the homeopathic HCG that it needs to be an alcohol base. I loved the mineral water base and it worked well for me, but so far with this new formulation I notice that I am NOT having the hunger problems that I was having with the mineral water formula. I also lost 2 lbs more this first week than the last cycle and half a pound more than the first week of my first cycle.

The last two cycles I didn’t experiment much with recipes, but this time I have been using the recipes from HCG Recipes Blog. I really like the mock shake ‘n bake and did my own version using 1/2 cup minced dried onions and a teaspoon of italian spice blended fine in a blender. One large chicken breast makes three servings, so I just washed and cut the chicken and dipped it in the “crumbs” and baked for about 18 minutes in the oven. I like cooking the meats in advance so was able to eat one and store two servings. It’s great reheated on the stove to keep the outside crunchy and sliced up over a salad. Its getting cold here in Utah and I love soup in the cold weather. The recipe for Effortless Cream of Chicken soup is really tasty and effortless. I have also been enjoying the apple crisp, not quite as good as the real thing, but a good substitute and makes me feel like I am having a nice treat.

I still have to mentally “get there” quite often, Halloween was really hard with the candy. We had plenty of trick-or treaters come and wipe us out, and that was a rough night for me. I went through a lot of gum, its not easy to not be able to munch on something. I was rewarded in the morning with a nice loss, so it made the pain worth it. Lots of people that see me are asking about the diet. Some have tried it and others are thinking about it. You really need to mentally prepare yourself for this diet, because old habits die hard. I’ve talked to several people that aren’t losing weight like others are. The first part of the protocol talks about cleansing being HIGHLY recommended. On to Maintenance and my third HCG ezTrim Weight Loss Cycle

It was much easier to maintain my weight during stabilization, once I started adding sugar and starch I ended up having more steak days than I would like to have had. I feel like this is a real learning time for me because I have been overweight so much of my life. I need to learn to control my portion sizes better and continue to work on making favorite recipes in a healthier way. On days when there was a gain I had to think about what I did wrong the day before and buck up and do the steak day. I think steak days are as hard to do as an apple day, but it gives us time to correct the error. It is the time when I am deciding which way my weight is going, up or down. If I decide not to do a steak day, then I am choosing my old ways and the weight will come back on. Doing the steak day is taking responsibility for what I have eaten the day before that caused the gain, and giving me the opportunity to take that weight right off. Every time I have done a steak day I lost the weight that I gained. I am committed to doing the steak days and working on my portions so that I don’t need to have one. I want to be able to maintain my weight by eating correctly every day.


My kids were really excited that I could finally eat “normal” so we enjoyed eating out a few times. They would ask me, have you eaten this or that yet and I would have to say, I can’t eat it all in one day! There are lots of things that I haven’t eaten that I would like to eat at some point, when the time is right. There are some things that I really don’t need to add back into my diet, many things in fact.


I went and got my hair cut a few weeks ago by a friend that I hadn’t seen in quite some time. We looked at each other and both said almost simultaneously, “are you on HCG”? Wow, she looked great and has lost 100 lbs in the last year. She had just started a weight loss cycle and said she was going to lose the last 30 lbs. I said, even with the holidays coming up? She said yes, and that is what she did last year. It got me thinking, why am I waiting until next year?


Last weekend we had a little get away up in Park City and I started my gorging days. Boy, I hate the weight you gain on gorging days, I always gain about 4 lbs. Today being day seven of this cycle since starting the HCG ezTrim drops I have lost 8.2 lbs. My weight is now lower than where I ended when I finished my second cycle the first part of September. I have lost a total of 52.9 lbs not including the loading days which would add about 12 more pounds to that figure! I’m not sure what the number goal is, other than getting rid of the tummy. I am very excited to be able to get this all done this year, what a wonderful gift to myself!!


PS - Hollie just finished her very long 2nd cycle a few weeks ago. She has lost a total of 110 lbs this year and will get going again in mid-January after the family birthdays are celebrated. Congratulations to Hollie, and to everyone else out there that is making this big change in their lives. It is so fun to hear people’s success stories. There are a lot of thinner people out there! End of my second round of HCG, on to Stabilization

It has been twelve days since I finished my second cycle of weight loss phase with HCG ezTrim. I lost 24 pounds with this cycle for a total of 52 pounds since the middle of May. I never would have dreamed that I would be able to lose that much weight in a little over three months. I stayed on the drops for seven weeks this time, I was hoping to lose a few more pounds than I did but the weight loss was a bit slower at the end of this cycle. This makes me wonder if six weeks at a time is best, I certainly was ready to be done by the end of that time. I would have stayed on, but realized that three more pounds wasn’t going to put me where I want to be, so I will get back on HCG ezTrim after the first of the year to lose another 10 - 15 pounds.

It is a bit scary moving on to the stabilization phase because although you can start eating more food, you need to be very careful to not eat any sugar or starches. I find it best to eat at home, though the times I have eaten out I have stuck to the plsn. I went to a buffet with my family and was amazed that there was very little I could eat. When we make our own food we know what is in it, so no need to worry about hidden sugar, etc.

I have had one steak day and even though it was quite distressing to weigh myself and have a gain, it is nice to know that doing the steak day got me right back down to where my loss was. When that happens it is important to identify the problem food that caused the gain and not eat that again while on stabilization. During the stabilization phase is vitally important to not eat sugar or starches, because this is when the set-point is being reset to the lower weight. This is all controlled by the hypothalamus and it takes three weeks for it to reset. This is the phase where people can really mess up, so be sure to continue to be very strict with your diet after the weight loss phase.

Foods I have enjoyed adding are avocados and ranch salad dressing. Fruit smoothies, nuts and the larger variety of fruits and vegetables. As a special treat homemade ice cream using stevia as the sweetener and for me that means chocolate ice cream with un-sweetened coconut and almonds. My own little bit of almond joy heaven!! I’ve learned to have a lettuce wrap when the family is having a sandwich. When the family is eating things I can’t have I make a smoothie, eat more fruit or vegetables and I am satisfied.
